CREATIVE CONCEPT VIDEO AND PHOTOGRAPHY
CONCEPTUAL VIDEO & PHOTOGRAPHY FOR YINKA OLORUNNIFE & ABBY OLORUNNIFE
Roles: Creative, Director & Photographer
This concept video is a peice i'm really proud to have worked on. Driven by wanting to make a difference and see change, when Yinka approached me I couldn't say no to getting involved in such a powerful concept. Yinka (who plays the lead), her sister was subject to racism in Australia, and decided to express her energy she felt from this into a peice of writing. This peice Yinka believe dwas too strong to not convey into a storytelling video, so she approached us.
We together produced a creative for the visuals, trying to emphasise the importance of emotion per segment, and eventually we had a plan, schedule and timings for the video to come together. I directed alongside Ian who was the DoP and editor on this particular project, in both outdoor locations and in the studio. In places, I was able to swap and take some portrait photography too.
We are so happy with the final video, so happy in fact we've entered this into some competitions, and awaiting to hear if we have one the Melbourn Film Festival for a few catagories.
