KARATE VIDEO & PHOTOGRAPHY WITH MITCHELL THORPE

Mitchell Thorpe approached me when beginning his career as a fighter to produce him a plethora of sports photography and videography that he can use to promote himself and gain sponsorship with. As a young athlete, he wanted something cool, edgy and modern. We wanted to add a spin that tells his story properly like a mini-doc, but is still engaging through being a shorter video. We produced a video that mixed studio videography and photography, location photography and videography and lots of use from drone videography too.
As a videographer from Essex, close to where Mitchell is from, we decided to do the majority of filming in Clacton-on-Sea, Frinton-on-Sea & some at England training closer to London. Mitchell was part of the England Karate team, and competed at multiple championships around Europe winning multiple medals, but decided to change the genre of fighting. He's now taken up MMA and won his first fight in Karate Combat.
