PROMOTION VIDEO & PHOTOGRAPHY FOR THE EQUALITY OF OPPORTUNITY COALITION

As a content director at This Is Purpose, I was in charge of creative campaigns for the company. A new direction the company was taking was the new 'Equality of Opportunity Coalition', chaired by Rt Hon Justine Greening & Stephen Cooper. I was tasked with planning a creative video that could shine a light on why other companies should sign up for this new initiative. The idea was for companies to utilise data that This Is Purpose could gather, and highlight within their own businesses their diversity of employment. This isn't just race, but backgrounds and opportunities the employees had when growing up. The end goal is to ensure that comapnies are reaching out to a wider talent pool, so young people from anywhere in the country can get an opportunity within their chosen career path.
The video began with pre-production, where I planned the overall big idea, how its going to look, and how it was going to feel. Then, once approved we moved onto the shot list and schedules to make sure that on the day not too much of Justine & Stephen's time is taken up, as they're very busy with their own working lives. From here, on the day we arrived early to set up lighting and dress the scenes pre-arrival and then direct the filming to the style pre-agreed. I also worked on the post-production, graphics, and grading for this project and was very happy with the overall outcome, as was the client.
To promote the coalition even further, I was asked to produce some photographs too. I'm very pleased to be able to offer both photography and video in the same place and can happily switch between if time allows.
